Justin is a practicing certified public accountant (CPA) and possesses a deep understanding of taxation that he applies to NASC’s utility bill audits. As a meticulous CPA, he examines taxes and surcharges embedded in customer invoices, utility gross receipts, franchise taxes, local surcharges, and exemption eligibility. Justin reviews tariff-driven tax applications, validates exemptions, and provides support for refund and abatement filings. Concurrently, he maintains his own successful independent CPA practice, offering clients practical guidance across various jurisdictions. Justin’s lifelong exposure to accounting stems from his time spent around the office with both his father and grandfather.
Justin graduated from the University of Tampa in 2015 with a Master’s degree in Accounting. Based in Connecticut, he enjoys baseball games, traveling with friends and family, and spending time with his pets.
